Trade Union

The Faculty of Foreign languages was founded in 1988. The department of Foreign Language Teaching that united teachers of foreign languages from different faculties, gave birth to the Faculty of Foreign Languages and, consequently, to the trade union committee of the faculty.

Nowadays, the overwhelming majority of the faculty students, teachers and administrative staff are the trade union members. As a rule, the trade union members are energetic, responsible and responsive people.

The trade union office closely cooperates with the faculty administration.

The social sector is the key responsibility of the Trade Union Office. It concentrates on the following activities:
- Provision of pecuniary aid;
- Provision of recreation and medical treatment to the faculty students and staff, as well as their children;
- Accommodation and housing improvement;
- Work with WWII veterans;
- Work with children;
- Events organization.
